WHAT DO THE LOGOS MEAN

As with all organisations like the ECO Centre, the partnerships and funding relationships often require that third party logos are used. We have pulled out four very important logos and explained their particular relevance to our organisation.

	The e3 logo represents a simple way of explaining what the ECO Centre is all about. We considered the old logo and what it meant. We decided that it was difficult to know what sort of organisation the ECO Centre was, and what it actually dealt with. We believe that the new logo states quite unambiguously the three main planks of our charitable objectives and that anyone looking at this will be in no doubt as to what we stand for. We received help in coming up with this design from Design Wales, who provided free advice and guidance.
	The ECO Centre was awarded the Green Dragon Environmental Standard, Level 2 in June 2004. It confirms that the ECO Centre practises much of what it preaches in terms of reducing wasted energy and other resources, as well as observing good practice in terms of its procurement policy and so on. 	The Energy Saving Trust's 'Energy Efficiency' logo represents one of the programmes that EST work on and promote. It is the main device used to encourage householders to put energy saving at the heart of their decision making. Refer to the EST My Home website for more information.
