Main events from the 25th Anniversary celebrations
The staff and trustees of the West Wales ECO Centre would like to thank everyone who took part in the successful Silver Jubilee celebrations. West Wales ECO Centre staff line up to commemorate 25 years of the ECO Centre.

The week was launched by the Mayor of Newport, Mr John Denley when he pushed play on the premiere showing of a short film on local attitudes to Climate Change. He is pictured here (on the left) with children from the local school and a friendly dragon.
The highlight of the week was a lecture by Sir John Houghton FRS, CBE pictured here with Jake Hollyfield (on the left), Director WWEC and Bob Cherryman (EST). Sir John is on the right of the picture.
A reunion for old members of the original Energy Group, staff and Trustees from the last 25 years was held. Jake (pictured standing) gave a presentation on the ECO Centre- Past, Present and Future.
The newly elected local MP, Stephen Crabb (Con) turned up to see what was going on and to find out about the ECO Centre. He is pictured here with Jake outside the visitor centre.
And the day was rounded off with a well attended tour of renewable energy sites in Pembrokeshire that the ECO Centre has been involved with. Here Keith Knight explains some of the hurdles he has had to overcome to be the first farmer in Pembs to install and own his own wind turbine.
