MID AND SOUTH WEST WALES EEAC

The Mid and South West Wales energy advice centre started life as the West Wales Local Energy Advice Centre in 1993. The West Wales Energy Group (as the ECO Centre was then known) won the pilot contract from the Energy Saving Trust. The advice centres were the first major programme run by the Trust via local organisations.

This network has expanded and adapted and the original LEAC serving a corner of Wales now covers a significantly broader area and maintains a number of important partnerships to help it meet its goals.

Current projects include:

Powys CO2i scheme - council grants for insulation and heating - 0800 954 .0657

ME2 - referral scheme for all householders, discounted or free measures depending on eligibility - 0800 954 0657
