The West Wales ECO Centre's 25th anniversary celebrations was launched today by the Mayor of Newport, Mr. John Denley. A specially commissioned film about local attitudes to Climate Change was the centrepiece of the launch.
The film was made by Tristan Hughes and Lee Bowen of 'Learning Pembrokeshire' for the ECO Centre. It covers a range of opinion from those of members of staff and members of the public.
The film will be on shown all week at the ECO Centre and at the Newport Memorial Hall on Tuesday 17th May. The theme for Tuesday is 'Climate Change Awareness Day' and will conclude with a lecture by one of Britain's foremost climate scientists, Sir John Houghton.
