West Wales ECO Centre has won the contract to provide support and education services to the Strategic Recycling Scheme partnership in Pembrokeshire.
The role includes writing a factsheet and an information booklet as well as providing training to teachers and community groups. The aim of the project is to encourage households to composting more organic and kitchen waste so as to reduce the amount going to landfill.
The County Council is helping by giving each household a free compost bin.
