Welcome to the West Wales ECO Centre mailing list and our second email newsletter. It's encouraging to see so many people signing up to receive this. We hope you find it useful.

A summary of contents in this issue:
1.New Content
2.ECO Centre news
3.newsletter archive

1. A round up of local and international news can be found in the Recent News box on the home page. A collection of all news items can be accessed via
http://www.ecocentre.org.uk/west-wales-eco-centre-news-archive.html

An brief explanation of our new logo and those of some of our awarding organisations and key partnerships can be found at:
http://www.ecocentre.org.uk/what-do-the-logos-mean.html

2. We are pleased to have recently taken delivery of a Toyota Prius, a hybrid electric vehicle with one the lowest tail pipe emissions recorded in modern cars.  It is important to us to demonstrate current technologies providing practical solutions to the causes of climate change.  In this way we reduce our motoring costs and more importantly lessen our impact on our environment. If you're passing the ECO Centre and want to know more, drop in and ask for a demonstration! If it's not being used we would be pleased to show you.  If you want more information on the car, then we suggest getting it from Toyota directly. There is a link on the news item:

The second report of our 'Energy for Tomorrow' project is available for download. it summarises activity in the second six month period. It and the first report can be found at:

We have just distributed our recently published CDROM 'Your World: Your Choice' free to all secondary schools in Wales. It examines the consequences of everyday choices that we make.  It is aimed at KS3 students, but that doesn't preclude primary schools using it.  An introduction and some screenshots from it are available at:
http://www.ecocentre.org.uk/your-world-your-choice-cdrom.html

If you would like to know more, or would like a free copy, contact us with your details and we will post one on. We may ask you to cover the p&p costs.

We have also just distributed our printed annual newsletter, the PDF was flagged up in the last email newsletter. If you would like a hard copy or two, contact us with your details and we'll post one out to you.

3. This and the other newsletters will be available as an archive on:
http://www.ecocentre.org.uk/previous-newsletters.html

That's it for now. We hope you find something usefull in all this.  Thanks again for your interest.

The West Wales ECO Centre team.
